I recently had the pleasure of visiting Valley Mills Vineyard for a wine tasting experience, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the stunning vineyard setting to the exceptional hospitality provided by our host, Megan, it was an unforgettable experience.
The moment we arrived at Valley Mills Vineyard, we were greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the vineyard. The rolling hills covered in vibrant green vines created a picturesque backdrop that set the tone for a truly magical day. The winery itself was beautifully designed, blending modern aesthetics with a warm and inviting ambiance.
Megan, our knowledgeable and passionate host, made our visit truly outstanding. Her enthusiasm for wine and the winemaking process was infectious, and she effortlessly guided us through the tasting experience. Her expertise in describing the various flavors and characteristics of each wine made the experience both educational and enjoyable. She was patient, answering all our questions and providing interesting anecdotes about the vineyard and its history.
The wine selection at Valley Mills Vineyard was impressive, showcasing a wide variety of exquisite wines. Each pour was carefully crafted, and it was evident that Valley Mills Vineyard takes pride in producing high-quality wines. From the crisp whites to the rich reds, every glass was a delight to savor. Megan's ability to pair the wines with complementary cheeses and snacks added an extra layer of culinary pleasure to the tasting experience.
Moreover, the service at Valley Mills Vineyard was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The attention to detail in every aspect of the visit was commendable, from the well-maintained grounds to the elegant presentation of the wines.
I must also mention the stunning views from the outdoor seating area. As we enjoyed our tastings, we were treated to sweeping vistas of the vineyard, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind and immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature.
Overall, my experience at Valley Mills Vineyard was nothing short of phenomenal. The combination of a beautiful setting, outstanding wines, and the expertise and warmth of Megan made it an unforgettable visit. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or someone looking to explore and appreciate the world of wine, Valley Mills is an absolute must-visit. I cannot wait to return and experience their hospitality once again.
Thank you, Megan, and the entire team at Valley Mills Vineyard, for creating such an exceptional wine...
Read moreI gave this 3 stars even though we didn't taste any of the wine. I am sure if money is no option this place is probably a neat experience.
I will say we didn't stay or purchase any wine for a few reasons. Driving in the road is not paved. It was a lot of bumps and gravel. You pull up to a split where the signs are marked "Handicap" to go right. Well my arm is broken and I have arthritis in both knees that was made worse by a recent fall but I don't have a handicap sticker so we continued on to the back.
We park, unload the pups in their stroller (since they are dog friendly) and proceed to the back entrance only to step in and see the stairway to heaven. No elevator in sight. Just a sign telling us if we have issues with stairs to park in handicap. So we climb back in our truck after loading pups back up and drive to handicap area where there are only 2 spots and 1 is being used. We didn't feel right taking the other one.
We have been to plenty of vineyards and never had to pay to explore the grounds or to even sample before we buy. The flights were pricey and so were the bottles. The one we would have paid for you had to be a member to buy. Why would we become members when we are passing through? Cheapest wine was $30 and although we would buy that if we could sample it first, we aren't willing to buy it blindly. I think they said you could apply credit from tasting a flight, i didn't want that much alcohol just for one wine. Im sure in the right circumstances this is a neat place but to not even walk the grounds when grapes were not in season without a tour is wild. We didn't see any grapes. It was all dried up. Just not our scene but im sure...
Read moreI worked with Sara who did a lovely job pre event. We ran into several problems once we arrived at the venue to setup for our bridal shower on 4/30. Sara is not on site which I have been an event planner for over 10 years and the person who is the event planner at the venue is always on site the day of the event to help to make sure things run smooth.
My rental company Pendly was told they can could come on Monday and pick up their stuff by a staff member so they didn't have to come back Sunday night. Yet, after our event, an older woman who worked at the venue harassed several of our guest About picking up All the decor.
The same older lady harassed our guest about picking up all the food in which I was not told we had to do that and nor have I ever had a venue make me do that in the 10 plus years I have been an event planner. We are not employees, we are the guest who paid to rent out part of the building for a shower
I had a special needs adult in one car and a guest on oxygen in another car who one employee told me I could park in front of the area we were parked at but later I was harassed by another employee to move.
This venue received a 3 star because the venue is absolutely lovely. It truly saddens me they didn't have it together and treated us like chop liver even though I paid for the...
