I am not one to post a review but I must for this place. It was not what I was expecting at all. The pictures are very deceiving. It’s obvious this preserve is not being maintained at all. Many places along the boardwalk are very weak and falling apart. Lots of trees across the trail you have to climb over. LOTS OF OVERGROWTH!! You can’t even see the pond due to the extreme overgrowth. And I can confirm there are NO RESTROOMS here. No parking lot just a pull off on the side of the road. Would be a nice place to go hiking IF it...

This is a wonderful place for a short hiking experience. There is lots of unique nature here. The ferns are amazing and plentiful! There are some huge trees in this preserve. The loop trail is half a mile long that explores the kame. There is a board walk that goes to the kettle lake. The pitcher plants are the most awesome of all. There are many here. Bull frogs and birds add music to the serenity of this hike. Sighting deer will accent the experience. God’s...

The boardwalk is loose and even broken in one area. Some boards are not fully nailed down anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if someone went through the boardwalk one day and either fell in the bog water or got hurt.

A few downed trees laying across the trail in the .5 mile loop that someone with mobility issues would not be able to get past.

Very peaceful and has some nice plant life to admire but as another reviewer said it is...

Grand little park. Most of the trail to the bog is boardwalk. The bushes are a bit tall in September. Be careful there may be poison sumac. The secondary trail has boardwalks over a few wet areas. Sign the guest book. I’m anxious to go back in a different season.
