This is a widespread parkland that aside from excellent areas for exercise offers facilities for restrooms and moderate shelter if required. There is also extended parking to ease transport of personal items for the event. Many fields are surrounding the main entry including offerings of baseball, softball, soccer and occasional groups playing their own games on the side. I'm not positive but I do believe they have a sandbox play place as well. As far as the atmosphere, it's parents shouting at their kids trying to play but I imagine that's everywhere these days, lol. I was there for a softball game my disabled son was in and I was stunned at the behavior of groups of other parents. I was ashamed... That said I was quite impressed with the field complex but be sure to bring a chair. Metal bleachers still get chilly...

While I was there, there was a couple that was in the small dog section that couldn't exit because the key fob reader wasn't working correctly. Found a free dog park just 2 and a half miles away, and my pup had a blast there. Don't think I would bring my dog here again.
