Little slice of Heaven. My new favorite place to zen out and enjoy nature and life.🙂 Update: Although this is still my favorite place to go to relax and enjoy nature, sadly, the last few times I went, it has been infiltrated with larger gatherings of people! They were blasting several different kinds of music at the same time from different spots (which defeats the whole purpose of getting out and enjoying the peace and quiet nature provides and getting away from the norm of everyday city noise/hustle and bustle 🙄) People were rudely playing ball games literally next to where others are sitting on their blankets and chairs (I was even hit with a football and had a baseball flying right towards me ugghh!) Is there any kind of natural sanctuary around left to enjoy the quiet, stillness and natural beauty in life anymore?! Has become very disappointing to say...

This hike is ideal for families with young children, offering a manageable yet engaging trail. While it's a short route, be prepared for a mild elevation change of about 70 feet. One of the highlights is the Tunkhannock Creek, boasting a stunning waterfall. Alongside it, there's a cliff that provides a serene spot to sit and soak in the scenic views and soothing sounds of nature. At the trail's end, you'll find a pavilion adjacent to a spacious field with direct access to the creek. It's important to note that there are signs clearly prohibiting swimming, diving, and campfires, ensuring a safe experience for all. This trail is a delightful choice for a brief hike, suitable for...

Beautiful little spot to visit. Some of the previous reviews complained of trash strewn about. I saw almost no litter, it was very clean. Nice shaded pavillion with picnic tables to eat off of, wild blackberry plants nearby, and a beautiful view of the water. I could even smell the wildflowers in the air and they were so sweet and fragrant. Parking only has room for so many cars but there weren't very many people there (I visited on a...

Nice quiet little place. I wouldn't make a special trip to it because it's quite small, but it does have beautiful views. Note that the lower trail is tricky because it slopes towards the river. There is a little path that leads down to the picnic benches. I almost missed it and was very glad I found it because that takes you down right to the river.
