Church of the Open Door — Attraction in Clinton

TRUELY the People are a Loving bunch. I Never experienced that kind of Love before at ANY CHURCH that I've been to. I've been faithfully going there since 1979. Pastor Jim Sr has been there Over 40 yrs. That's unheard of now days. But even though he has Retired, he has his son Jim Jr as Senior pastor for the last 5 yrs. But Jim Sr is still there for Every Service. Also Jim Sr heads up a Men's group called "Man of God" meeting at 8am on First Saturday of each month. For Breakfast, No Charge for Guests. They're BIGTIME into missions. Plus about 2-3 times a year they send a Team to Cambodia where they helped a Missionary to get going. Plus a Orthodontist to Fix Hundreds of kids teeth. They have started about 6,000 Churches, they have Over 3,000 Orphans that they take care of EVERYDAY. Many years the Church donated Over $100,000 a year to Missions. The list goes on, Stop in on some Sunday for Services @ 8:30am or 10:30am....

People are friendly pastor Jim is great at getting God's word into the mind of people and the worship team is awesome and there are so many things for the kids to get involved with and it's just and overall great environment to be in I have so many memories going here when I would visit my aunt on those visit as a kid I went to Sunday school and their youth program called U-TURN and it was one of the best times of my life if your in the area and are looking for a church I highly...
