This has been a getaway sanctuary for me that is beautiful year round. I come here to spend quality time with my inner being. This time, it's about Heavy Love (Mali). To my Heavely Father, Happy Father's Day and thank you for the defining moments that recently occurred. Message received at NarrowWay yesterday that I shall bear a son, very exciting...just curious, will this be by supernatural insemination? Lol jk ) To my Heavenly son, hello, and thank you for choosing us, we look forward to having you here with us. To my future husband and beloved father of our future son, I love you! Happy Father's Day! While I'm with the other side of the family this holiday, just know I Can't Stop Loving You (Kem) and I look forward to our future special occasions together. It may not be a party yet, but I'm trying to bridge the gap, hopefully we can create our own traditions as we write our story. If I could write love letters to our future children, I would tell them how awesome you are, they can probably see u better than I can from above, but I would tell them anyway. I would first say He Is (Brandy), Rock Steady (Aretha), someone I Can't Get Enough (Tamia) of, as there is No Letting Go (Wayne) because We Were Made to Love (Gerald) each other and you. He Is a good man with a good heart and we are in Real Good Hands (Porter). That heavy love. He Is a man of great character and talent who has accomplished a lot in life and values family and love above all else. He Is an amazing soul and a leading example to be around. We are so lucky He Is our very own. We carry his lineage and name with pride, respect, and honor and together we make a dynamic and legendary family. He Is simply The Best as the queen of Rock puts it! Happy...
Read moreRelease the crow! This situation is deeply troubling. I encountered a solitary crow confined to a cramped cage, unable to spread its wings and fly freely. It's just an ordinary crow, a common sight anywhere you go. Why subject it to such captivity? I had anticipated an enjoyable visit, but I was unprepared for the sight of so many birds, particularly the crow (INSIDE the building) confined in such small cages. 😢
Update: I've received a response from the center, and they informed me that the crow's name is Neo. She was donated to the center by a community member who raised her, making her an imprint. Furthermore, Neo will soon be relocated to an outdoor bird facility currently under construction. In a perfect world, it would have been wonderful to witness Neo thriving and flying freely outside. Nevertheless, I am delighted that she will be moved to an outdoor birdcage. I implore you to reflect upon the responsibilities associated with pet ownership before acquiring a bird. Birds are meant to soar through the skies and should not be...
Read moreHow can this be a bad world when there are places like this to bring your children? One day my niece and nephew were visiting. They were both cranky, wanting to go watch something and go to McDonalds. I wasn't up to anything and just wanted to go somewhere peaceful, so I took them to the Nature Center for me, not them. My 7 year old nephew was immediately entranced by the turtles. One of them was trying to hypnotize another. At least that's what it looked like with it waving its arms in the other's face for 15 minutes straight. Meanwhile, my 9 year old niece went exploring in the animal habitats. She made up stories about them living in a neighborhood and using each others stuff. They explored and discovered for over an hour, each in their own way. My nephew, usually a little self absorbed, actually thanked me for...
