What a nice Welcome Center, the two ladies who ran the center were super friendly and went out of their way to help and answer any questions of the history of the area. The center itself is very welcoming and was a pleasant stop for us as we traveled the Natchez Trace Parkway. They had a nice garden and the surprise find for us was the bronze statue of the 'Fallen Comrade', what a moving tribute to all soldiers, the story behind it is pretty impressive, making one think of the ultimate sacrifices they made for all of us.
