TLDR, went to Mariah's Mum's when they weren't scheduled to be open. We screwed up the date, but they accommodated us and let us pick strawberries anyway. Great people and awesome strawberries!
So, today my wife and kids went out to Mariah's Mums to pick strawberries. We planned out our trip a month or two back and marked it on our calendar. We get there and notice there is an absence of cars. After walking around for a short bit, Mariah came out and explained that the strawberry picking dates changed a few weeks ago and strawberry picking is only on Saturdays. Unfortunately we didn't receive an update on our Facebook event and we missed this information.
Mariah told us we didn't have to leave though and went to get some scissors and containers to pick strawberries. We explained that she didn't have to do that and we could come back next Saturday. The last thing we wanted to do was intrude on their Sunday. Mariah reassured us and went over how everything worked with the strawberry picking. She said she'd be around and to stop her when we were done.

When we got them home we cleaned them up. The strawberries we're out of this world delicious! I have never had strawberries as good as the ones from Mariah's. Super sweet! There kids and family loved them.
We were very grateful for Mariah being so accommodating, and we had a great day as a family picking...

I loved everything else about it but the gentleman could of talked to me a totally different way. In case you are wondering I was walking to my vehicle and he told me I couldn't go that way. I was 2 feet from my vehicle wasn't hopping a fence or hurting anything was just dropping things we had bought off in my vehicle. So I walked around and came back to my truck where he was putting the orange fence up on my vehicle with the stake touching my truck. I then said really you got to put it on my truck and he rudely spoke to me again saying I shouldn't of parked there I then told him that was where they told me to park! I said dude don't need to speak to me that way and I wouldn't be coming back in which he replied that he doesn't care if...
Read moreWe attended the 2nd annual Dog Event at Mariah’s Mums and had a wonderful time! And proceeds I believe were going to a dog rescue which is just wonderful! I went both years with my Mom so we have made this an annual Mom and Daughter event as well as a Dog Mom and me event!
