Cannon AFB Visitor Center — Attraction in Clovis

I’ve been here multiple times and am always slightly let down or left feeling a bit more sad than when I entered. I’m always waiting for at LEAST 10 minutes, none of the employees smile, they hardly look at you as you’re standing at the desk, and they talk so fast that you have to think for a moment about what they said before you actually understand it. Honestly, I think they say the same things so many times every day to so many people, that they don’t realize that their speech has increased in speed and has lost any person-ability. 😅 I mean, it’s understandable, but... the lack of friendly faces is apparent and greatly missed. 😔

Aside from that, though, I always get what I need taken...

Solid rustic setting, plenty of parking, friendly laid back atmosphere, seating.in the barn or bring chairs and a blanket and picnic. B-BQUE truck with good food if you don't feel like bringing your own. If you want something with a bit more kick BYOB. Overall a great night out without having to deal with...
