We were in the area and visited the garden, I am a local gardener and understand how the heat has been affecting plants but this garden isn’t even watering their plants at all! We visited in the late morning and the ground was extremely dry with leaves piled around the base of the trees. Weeds were the only plants growing well in the whole garden especially the house demo area. Lastly we were onside and couldn’t find anyone on the grounds to ask any questions, which was a little of a disappointment. Spiderwebs were covering plants and got on my clothes. As a positive the front part of the garden( child’s garden) looked really nice. Lastly just wish that the garden will at least water more and not be full of dead plants and flowers. Read moreThis Clovis heat has brought drought to the garden, unfortunately! However it doesn't take away from the beauty that still exists - murals, sculptures, landscaping, and a myriad of plants that represent a multitude of California as a whole. There are plans for even more representation soon, too including a Native American exhibit by 2024 and a grassland exhibit -hopefully- by the end of 2022.
