Veteran's Memorial Stadium — Attraction in Clovis

Great place to work out or to take a walk for exercise. Theres usually a lot of people here from the area, so expect a crowd. Nice neighborhood, "safer" part of town. I saw someone leave their wallet and phone on a bleacher at the back of the stands, then go for a run around the track. The campus is pretty much open for parking at your own risk. I still wouldn't recommend leaving your valuables in your vehicle, let alone on a bleacher. A lot of gates are locked 3 times, but people still hop them or wiggle through, so you're not alone. Water fountains are turned off, so bring lots of water...

When I went here for my great niece's track sporting event a few years back, I remember that it was very nice... that is, until it started to rain. No coverage, we had to take out our own umbrellas. This is an absolutely beautiful facility and would probably be an upgrade for a number of colleges. As a high school stadium it is definitely the nicest I have ever been to.
