The overall family experience is great. My child loved the wave pool. Definitely is a family friendly atmosphere and local favorite. I do appreciate the no speaker music rule. I liked their small size attractions in place. It's feels bigger for children.
Now the negative aspect is pricing. Age 4 and up are charge the same ticket price. My child and I are charged $44 per ticket. The ticket prices vary per day and hour. It's not worth buying future tickets due to the fact it is FINAL SALE so if you want to cancel, switch dates, and want a refund. You ain't gonna get those back. It's stated on their website so be cautious when placing in a order of tickets for future days. I am not sure if the pricing have always been this way or not but it is not family budget friendly. I could go to a larger water park theme in Southern California for the same ticket price.
Next, the mandate parking fee of $6 which is ridiculous. I suggest no parking fee for the general and only charge for VIP parking slot. When you pull up to their property, they have staffs waiting to charge you for parking fee and enforce the policy. Afterward they have their next set of employees to direct you where to park even though it's general parking... I disliked the control enforce by the company. Even though they have another batch of employees who stand on guard to separate general parking and VIP. The other ridiculous thing is the parking have three packages which are VIP, Preferred Parking and general parking.
Third thing I noticed at the water park is their fish pond. The water surface is stagnated and reflects off to be very dirty. I would expect the company would maintain their pond better and well provided, I guess, higher quality of pond water. The Fresno Japanese koi pond inside of Woodward Park have their water cleaner and well maintained. Judging Wild Water Adventure ponds are similar in sizes to the koi pond.
The fourth thing I noticed the broken and unusable shower outside of the restroom and shower building. It's interesting this is the first water park ever not to have those accessible to the guests. Majority of places do but not this water park theme.
In conclusion, the overpriced tickets with parking fee deter my family of 2 of not coming back. No I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is visiting here the first time due to the stated issues above. As for the local residents have their own reasons to come back every summer. But I for one am not a local...
Read moreI had to say that it was a fun day till I was very disappointed not only did we rent one but to Cabanas for my grandson's birthday and apparently were double-booked we went from 2 Cabanas to just one and due to booking done over the phone with one of Clovis Lakes Representatives who was oblivious to what they were doing it's so sad that you rent out the Cabanas and you make these mistakes whether it was done online or over the phone your representatives on the other end need to know how to book and how to schedule a date we had a unfortunate situation although three families we're kind enough to wait for us to move to another Cabana because of the mistake of the staff when we checked in. We arrived early and did not even get compensated for the inconvenience we attempted to pay the difference for another Cabana and that was not even offered the customer service for these type of services to me get a low grade of a 3 due to their inconveniences. We did not want to have a cabana on one side of the park and the other Cabana on the far right of the park I just feel that it should be a first come first serve it was paid with a credit card and we were asked to leave when we arrived and waited a line and have a actual staff member assistance and guidance to our firework Cabana one and ended up with one Cabana when we had rented two so I don't recommend making arrangements online or over the phone I would recommend taking the time to go down to the park and pick your Cabana and get it in writing supervisor and the person who is making the appointment we spent more time moving our food or tables or chairs gifts cakes our bags party stuff and didn't even enjoy half a day so we were too busy situated where we were supposed to be at and trying to get our families under one tent because of inconvenience I was very irate and all the staff could do was give us our money back for one Cabana and oh well not a problem walk away and when we originally booked the command that it was supposed to have a table and a barbecue grill and all we got was a tent and three chairs it was pretty pathetic so I don't recommend planning parties at this part they really lost their touch I was very disappointed and wear regular attendees and for the past 6 years we've had our grandson's party and it seems to get worse every year I guess we're going to go to the new park cuz Clovis Lakes is...
Read moreI visited this water park recently and was extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by the manager (also their POS), Jackie Williams. When I raised a valid safety concern about guests being required to carry a very large and heavy four-person tube uphill in the heat, I was immediately dismissed and spoken to rudely.
Instead of listening or offering any solution, Jackie Williams mocked me in front of staff, my husband, and other guests. She sarcastically asked if I “knew how water parks are supposed to operate,” and when I mentioned that another water park uses a lift system, she told me to “go there and not come back — we’d be happier that way.”
This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable from anyone, let alone a manager who represents the park. While I did eventually receive a refund, the experience was humiliating and showed a total lack of respect for customers.
Jackie Williams, who should have been a point of service, instead conducted herself as a point of shame for this establishment.
In fact, I have already sent them a detailed email regarding this incident, and if I do not receive a response, I will be submitting a formal complaint with the proper consumer protection authorities.
I cannot recommend this park to anyone based on the way management handles concerns. If you value professionalism, safety, and respectful treatment, you are much better off visiting other water parks in the area where guests are treated properly.
In reply to the response from the Owner of this establishment (as stated on your business Google profile):
The main issue here is the complete absence of customer service. Your employee, Ms. Williams, demonstrated no professional or customer service skills whatsoever. She lacks the business ethics and integrity required to properly handle customer concerns or address issues in a respectful manner.
As a public establishment, you are obligated to ensure that customers are treated with dignity and respect. Yet to this very moment, neither you nor your staff have offered me a single apology for the way I...
