This is a cute little park right off the 41 freeway. There's a trail that goes along a river and loops back to the parking lot. There is a mobile home park visible from the parking lot and the freeway is right above. You can walk down the river and stand directly under the overpasses. There is graffiti and some litter, the bathrooms are currently closed. It's a cute little spot to be near water and see native plants, bees, ducks etc. I probably wouldn't come here if I was wanting to escape the city life, as it's noisy from the freeway. Still it's a cute park and during the day might be a nice walk with kids or elderly people as the trail is easy.

Very peaceful piece of land beautiful water stream.... Very small trail around the park, but if you explore and go under wet the bridge you'll find access to other trails that are off road. Very small park, security is on it they close at 7p and they mean 7pm, awesome place for photos

Peaceful! Super quit! There's large mouth bass and small little fish there. There's also crawdad. No lie but I and my wife eyes witness 2 deers fighting each other there at the park. There's public restroom. There are area of shallow water. You can ride canoe there.

Re-discovered this place again in a way (we used to be members of the fairly non-exclusive Wildwood Country Club when I was a child in the 1980's. The WWCC entrance missed this park by a few feet, so we never actually explored here) a few weeks ago when a friend and I were taking a drive on the San Joaquin River Bridge and decided to see where all the cars were down below. The cars were past where this park is and despite it being over 100 degrees, the parking area had plenty of shaded areas under some enormous tree. Some walking paths and odd-shaped logs, dry grass, and river branches here and there make for an...

A quiet little oasis just outside of Fresno, North of the San Joaquin River.

This native park really shines in the late spring when there's gorgeous greenery and wildflowers as well as in autumn when the colors start to change.

I've seen plenty of photoshoots happen here as it's a relatively short drive from Fresno for a park not many people are really aware of.

The parking lot has a vault toilet. There's room for about a dozen and a half to two dozen cars here. I often times park here and ride my mountain bike over to the Van Buren trail just a short distance across the dirt road in front...
