Beautiful place to ride, we come here almost every other weekend & bring friends/family when they come into town. The trails themselves are awesome; however, the staff, especially the manager NAYAD (if that's even her real name) is absolutely the worst and one of the poorest customer service experiences I've had in quite some time.

We purchased season passes, being we make frequent visits per month, and we couldn't find our passes today, may have just fell out of our bag while we were out riding or just in a bag we didnt check...well - we thought as an establishment and how much they charge for season passes, they would have a well developed system in place to be able to verify passes and reprint another or atleast just look up our name or number. Well, we walked up to the desk and the manager and another man were already dealing with another issue a different family..told them our situation, hoping they would have atleast a considered solution and they basically said "nothing we can do about it. Purchase day passes and that's that." Okay, well what about all the other visits we'll be making? Asked to talk to the manager since the check in staff may be limited on their ability to find a helpful solution.

The manager, nayaid / nayad / nayead, immediately came out of the office with the worst attitude and her eyebrows already raised and confrontational...it was evident she was having a bad day at 10am. She wouldn't let me even finish my sentence, had to remind her I was speaking, before just interrupting me again to say "well. nothing we can do" and then basically accused us of giving away our passes in attempt to cheat the system and that we could have just gave away our passes for new ones (??) So, I asked if she's ever lost a piece of paper in her life, for which she answered she had but she just bought another one - which im sure she didnt; with her horrible attitude im sure shes a Karen that complains at Walmart if they dont honor her coupons... She also explained ski resorts also make you just buy new season passes if you misplaced yours; lucky for her, our family has managed a ski resort and they most definitely have an effectice system in place to verify passes..so, good attempt but, not really.

AOAA, please re- train your manager. Help her check her personal miseries, and smile a little more to have better customer experience AS A MANAGER. Its an ATV off road park, not a dollar general where your manager clearly hates her life.

Made sure to let our friends know and anyone else we bring not to purchase the season passes - or if you do, def. make sure you hold on to it like it's your golden ticket to the Wonka factory because NAYAD, NAED, NAYEAD, NAYAID will make sure to use it as her free pass to rude and argumentative.

Get a better manager to match the beauty of the park, not the wicked witch of the west.

Riders - go to Famous Reading Outdoors instead. Awesome trails and more to do. Since Karen, oops I mean NAYAID, was quick to make us purchase new passes again, we'll happily go spend our money elsewhere, with better...

Horrible customer service! Very rude staff, they look down on you and act as if you are not good enough to be on their trails. Not welcoming at all. This was our first time here. Went with a group of 6 adults with 2 side by sides and 1 4 wheeler. 3 of us were passengers and when purchasing passes, we were asked what type of equipment we would be riding. No one ever said the 4 wheeler was not approved for 2 people. It has foot pegs and a back seat attached. We were stopped on the trail after riding for 3 hours and told we could not ride 2 people on the 4 wheeler. After pretty much fighting for a refund, we were given a small one. At a second stop on the trails one of the riders was told his helmet was not approved. The employee was very rude and cocky when he spoke to us. While riding on the trail we came across a group who had broken down . We stopped to help and as we were standing there wenching the unit, 3 aoaa employees drove right past and didnt stop or turn back to ask if everything was okay. Trails are not marked clearly and you have to stop frequently to look at the map ( if you don't have the maprika app to download and follow). There are several other places near here to ride. We will not go back.

In response to the owners statement - I am telling the truth. We were stopped on our way back to the parking lot due to closing time being 5:30. We arrived at 1:30pm that day and paid for a two day pass $65. I was refunded $15. And no I did not say I didn't read the rules. I read the waiver and signed it. I have ridden that 4 wheeler in many other parts of PA and never had those rules stated to me nor been told it is not approved or allowed to ride. It's okay that those are your rules. The rude demeanor of the staff is my BIGGEST problem with this place. That is why we...

I’ve gone on two 2 day trips up here. I didn’t even cover all of the trails in that time on my sport UTV. The terrain is mainly rocky. But there’s still a good mix of riding here! There’s a East & west side. The terrain is definitely different from one side to the next. Both sides have some mud holes, hill climbs & such. All of the trails are two way traffic. I was a little concerned about that at first on the single wide trails. But there’s so much space out there you really don’t see people that often even know the parking lot is full. It’s also nice to ride a trail in the opposite direction for a different experience. The “Maprika app” they suggest is a great way to navigate. I used it on my cellphone & got great service (AT&T) in the woods. If all else fails “pink and black gets you back”. They have signs with a pink & black arrow that will get you from any trail to the parking lot. Parking is great with a trailer of any size. The staff is really friendly! There’s a good food vender on site that is also very friendly. I found it very convenient. I didn’t pack food & there really isn’t anything within a few miles. I didn’t use the towing service they offer. But it’s nice to know it’s available. I went out by myself both times I was here. I felt very safe even on the tough trails considering I had cell service everywhere & towing was available. I also thought the cost to ride was very reasonable. They also allowed me to leave my UTV & trailer there at night. No one messed with my stuff. It was nice to be able to drive to the hotel, dinner & such without the trailer. In a perfect world I would have liked to have regular bathrooms & on site fuel available there. But it’s the mountains & they were really affordable. So I guess that’s good for...

Overall it’s a nice trail system. My biggest complaint is that they open at 9 and close the trails at 5/5:30pm. There are still 2 hours of daylight so it really cuts a large chunk of your ride time. They should allow later riding on weekends and when the sun is up later. I can understand 5pm in January when it’s dark at 5pm. To make it worse, they have lots of signs about paying late fees if you’re not back in time. So we never felt comfortable going out past 4pm in case we ran into any issues and couldn’t get back in time. So all in all, you can only get maybe 6 hours of good riding in a day which is very disappointing. For the terrain, know that it’s very rocky, not a lot of trails to just cruise. I like cruising at 15mph-20mph on an ATV, the average speed here is probably closer to 10mph. The trails are well marked and lots of signs point back to home base which is very helpful. They take safety seriously here which is nice. They have safety checkpoints before entering trails and they have staff on the trails monitoring. The place was super busy today, but thankfully the place is large enough that it didn’t impact riding. We hit a few bottlenecks, but no big deal.

We went to AOAA today for the first time. What an experience. Being from Florida we had never ridden a park this large before. We stopped at the trailhead and spoke to one of the trail workers Collin. He was extremely helpful and really knew the area well. He gave us some pointers on what to see with the amount of time we had left in the day. Which was about 5hrs and we barely scratched the surface of one side of the park. You definitely have to come back several times to ride most of it. A must see riding area. I plan to get a yearly membership seeing as I moved about 30mins away from there. Looking forward to spending lots more time on this land. Thanks for the great experience AOAA!

Loved it as one of the first runs in our new sxs. I have a stock RZR Turbo R, and I blasted through everything here. Pretty easily, didnt hit 4 wheel drive at all. A little bit of everything for everyone. I don't think I would drive 4-5 hours for this. But if you want to visit this along with other spots in the area, then it's a must. Went on a Saturday in July and didn't feel crowded at all, and the parking lot was packed!! Was even able to drive into town Shamokin, which is AOAAs biggest plus for the area. The trail we took into town was a bit tight for a 74" 2 seater. Do the waiver and ride passes online, check in was less then 3 minutes, and we were off riding.
