📚Great Teachers📚 I learned so much during my time at EFSC. The classes feel small and specialized, with teachers that really do invest in the success of the students. Through the honor societies, clubs, and opportunities afforded, I was able to achieve my academic goals and graduate satisfied with my investment. The Cocoa campus is larger than the Titusville campus with more buildings and space. There's a three-story library, a TV station, and entire buildings dedicated to specific specializations, such as health science, veterinary nursing, or HVAC. From art classes and theater, to welding and phlebotomy, there's a bit of everything here. There are also frequent on-campus events to enjoy, including food vendors, live performances, and games.

Eastern Florida State sponsors a youth golf camp in the summer. It is a top-notch program for FREE. The entire staff and volunteers are THE BEST! Kids have an opportunity to learn about golf, respect, and other critical values that are needed for life skills. Thank you for the opportunity. The campus is also very clean, and landscaping is beautiful. The staff is extremely nice and helpful!

I had the pleasure of attending the Vietnam Travel Wall event today, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze that made the day all the more enjoyable.

I have classes between the Cocoa campus and the Melbourne campus, this is solely a review for Cocoa.

I have had, for the most part, wonderful professors. I've only had 2 bad professors at this campus, but it has worked out in the end thankfully. If you have the right professor, they genuinely care for your education and go beyond just the typical "look at screen and write notes", they'll engage with you and have practices to make the class more interesting and realistic for what you are going in for. My advice is to try to look on RateMyProfessor for your possible professor & what you will have in store.

The buildings are older but it has a nice touch, I never got to experience the building that they closed off years back with space though :( staff is friendly, but you do have to go forward to them if you have issues. Librarians are sweethearts who will help you!

Security, however, is frustrating. 2022 I had parked in front of the security office to go to class due to no parking spots, and when I came back, my car wasn't starting. I had thought it was my battery so I was outside, in front of the building mind you, for roughly an hr and a half with my hood up and nobody had came out to check up on me until my grandfather had come to help me with my car. in which, not long after, an officer had come out finally... just to go after my grandfather to not "drive on the road" and she then told me I was not allowed to park in this specific spot due to being a staff parking spot, then just left. she didn't offer to help at all or ask what was wrong with my car and just to chew me out. 🤦‍♀️ very rude woman, and I was not even aware there was staff parking spots apart from the main lots. if anyone reads this far and is wondering, yellow spots is staff & white is students! I wish they had a sign for it like the Melbourne campus, I think it'd be useful for new students.

Apart from that, I think this campus is a pretty good one. most of it is general degree courses with UCF's nursing building being there, but there is some really cool fun elective classes...

Melbourne campus...I talked to advisors for almost 2 years straight when I was pursuing my associates degree in nursing. I had everything laid out for me in writing of the classes that I needed for the AS in nursing. I took all of my pre requisite classes that I NEEDED for my specific program. About 4 months into the hard nursing program I was told that I needed 2 extra classes in order to graduate (that I didn’t need when I originally got accepeted). One of the classes was Intermediate Algebra which I totally struggle in and it has been about 18 years since I took anything like it. Now I have to take a SIX week math program ON TOP of my nursing classes (which are plenty on their own), I’m totally drowning. My point is... I should have been grandfathered in without needing that math until I personally decided to go for my bachelors degree...but instead I have no other choice and it’s complete chaos....NO ONE should have to do ANY extra classes on top of nursing classes....completely unfair the way that they did this....I can’t believe it. For someone who struggles in math severly...this is totally wrong. This is the Melbourne Campus that I’m...

Great staff and great campuses, however I must complain of one staff member, Ms. Annette Tran. She sent a document to me in an email and said to fill out and send it back to her. Now note I live in Indialantic, so cocoa is a 1 and half hour drive. I then contacted her asking how to send it, through pdf or come to the Cocoa campus and she said she’ll be at the cocoa campus. When I got there at the appointment on time I asked all over the campus and she wasn’t there. Then I contacted her again and she said to just email it over. I did as instructed and she claimed that it was the wrong one. So I contacted her again and ask if she could send me the right pdf and she said to drive up to the cocoa campus and get the form. So I went again and no sign of her and the front desk handed me the document. I signed and sent it back and it was wrong again! I repeated myself for her to send it and she said the paper will be at the Melbourne campus. I went, got the paper but she still wasn’t there. I then tried emailing it to her and it said my email got blocked, so I had to use my secondary email and I still wait word from her...
