I placed an order for a mattress, adjustable base, headboard bracket and mattress cover on September 22nd. I scheduled an appointment for September 28th for set up for the new and removal of our old bed. September 27th the headboard bracket arrived. September 28th the guys brought our adjustable base, set it up and removed our old mattress and box springs. The mattress was not with them. It was being delivered separately. We didn't receive the mattress until October 3rd and the mattress protector until October 4th. I called Mattress Firm on the 28th to see if there was anything that could be done about the mattress not being delivered and I was told no, not since you ordered it through our website. I was not pleased with that kind of customer service. I did my business with Mattress Firm. I was told that I would have to contact the number on the webpage. The phone number doesn't allow you to speak to a live person. You can chat about basic issues. The date for delivery of our mattress was incorrect. I was brought an incomplete bed. There was no customer service. I looked up a phone number online, finally spoke with a live person and she was kind enough to credit our delivery fee. She and I had a disagreement about 7 business days and when that actually was. Eventually everything arrived and we had a new bed to sleep in by the 4th of October. October 7th, the motor on the adjustable base will no longer adjust the bed. I called Mattress Firm and was told I will have to call the manufacturer of the adjustable base. I thought Mattress Firm would take care of it. The guy at the local store explained that if I bought a Samsung TV and it wasn't working at Best Buy, I'd call Samsung, not Best Buy. I most definitely would return it to Best buy! He gave me the 800 number for Leggett and Plat and warned that they're only open until 5 pm. I called on the weekend and they weren't open. I waited and called today 10/14 and waited on hold for 40 minutes to talk to a live person. She ordered a motor that will take 3-5 business days to get here and then 3-5 more business days to get a technician out. It could be two weeks she said. He, the technician will decide then if the mattress is too heavy for the base. If I have any issues, she advised me to deal with Mattress Firm. Wish me luck! Customer service is not very strong. Read moreStopped by this location while on a trip with my mom and received the best service from Gabriel and the rest of the team! I have been meaning to replace my mattress for awhile but kept putting it off since the salesman experience usually makes me feel pressured and uncomfortable. Fortunately I had the opposite experience with Gabriel! He was very attentive but not in a pushy way, it felt more like a conversation and like he was naturally a fan of the Tempurpedic he ended up selling me on. Which is kind of crazy because I walked in telling myself I would never get a Tempurpedic because they are just so expensive but that ended up being the only brand I tested out and he sold it so well that I didn't feel the need to shop around further. I did take a night to think about it and then came back in to sign on the paperwork right away - Gabriel wasn't there at the time but the other two associates were just as helpful and friendly and got everything squared away super quickly. I think the one who helped me fill out all of the remaining paperwork was Killian and he helped recommend a mattress protector and there was also a free gift where I went a little over on the dollar amount with two Tempurpedic pillows but he comped the extra charge so I still got both for free which was awesome!!

Read moreWe had been shopping for a Queen Mattress and Power base at a few mattress stores. We saw the ad in the paper and thought we’d check out Mattress Firm in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
When we got to the store we were greeted by a nice young man named Phil. He had us try out several firmnesses of different mattresses and then we began our search for the mattress in our price range. Phil was very engaging and knowledgeable. We looked and laid down on a variety of mattresses. We chose the set we wanted and went over to the computer.
Phil explained all our options and gave us a delivery date. He told us all about the 120 day trial period, if we didn’t like the mattress how we could exchange for a different one, etc. We were joking with him about things and he just really read us. Then, he told us he was the Manager of the 2 stores in CdA and a couple more in Spokane area. Not boasting at all. We were totally impressed! What a nice young man taking care of everything.
I wanted to write a review to let everyone know that we didn’t feel like we were being pushed or being “sold up”. The entire process was professional and courteous and didn’t take long at all. We’re hoping that we’ll enjoy our new mattress and power base as much as we did our shopping experience. Thanks Philip. We’re glad we got you that day!
