This is a rad park. What sucks is how the city of Coeur d'Alene finally acknowledged and honored the skateboarding community and in return, some degens decided that garbage cans provided are too far of a walk to put trash and cigarette butts. Come on, dude. Cda has shown in more than a few instances that they could exercise their capacity to not care about the youth of this town. Littering is a really good way to show the powers that be that we don't care about community support or acceptance. Read moreCDA Skatepark is great for ALL ages and abilities. You'll typically find a mix of mostly skaters and scooter riders here although some bikes make an appearance as well. The main area has several features while the bowls on the north provide a pool experience. If you're new to park riding or a parent of a younger enthusiast please make sure you follow basic park safety protocol of taking turns and watching out for other riders especially those mid trick. Read moreI don't think smoking should be allowed on the course/track. (Not sure what the official name is). There needs to be a designated area for "smoking breaks". Oh and I think the area on the outer edge of the bike/skate path should be grass and not dirt and rocks. Wipe outs can be gnarly. Otherwise it's great.
