I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Lotus Guild Games, and I must say that it was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I entered, the store's reputation for underhanded practices and the untrustworthiness of their owner became painfully obvious.
First and foremost, it was evident that the owner, who fancies himself as a champion gamer, is deceitful and manipulative. I soon discovered that he rigged tournaments by actively participating in them himself. It's utterly disheartening to see an owner exploiting their position of power to manipulate results in their favor, crushing the spirit of fair play that gaming communities thrive upon.
Even more concerning was the owner's attempt to handpick matchups. Desperate to maintain an illusion of fairness, he strategically paired certain players to give himself an unfair advantage. This blatant manipulation of matchups not only destroys the integrity of the competition but also robs genuine gamers of the chance to test their skills against worthy opponents.
Apart from the rigging, it seems the owner lacks even a shred of honesty in his dealings with customers. Numerous individuals, including myself, have fallen victim to his deceptive tactics, misrepresentations, and outright lies. Promises of exceptional service, a wide variety of games, and quality products were shattered upon experiencing the reality of Lotus Guild Games firsthand.
To add insult to injury, the poor experiences customers endure at this establishment are another reason to avoid it altogether. The staff appear to be disinterested and unhelpful, far more interested in catering to the owner's questionable agenda rather than accommodating the needs and inquiries of their valued customers. Every interaction feels like an inconvenience to them, leaving nothing but a bitter taste in one's mouth.
Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise that such a deceitful establishment exists, as it serves as a valuable reminder of the importance of transparency, integrity, and genuine passion for the gaming community. Lotus Guild Games falls embarrassingly short in each of these areas, demonstrating a complete disregard for the very essence of what makes gaming special.
In conclusion, my experience at Lotus Guild Games was nothing short of a disaster. From the owner's rigged tournaments and handpicked matchups to his deceitful practices and subpar customer service, it is clear that this establishment does not deserve the support of any respectable gamer. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by steering clear of this deceitful pit of dishonesty called Lotus...
Read moreThis place treats you like a familiar friend while giving the knowledge you need about learning the different games available. I play magic and Pokemon. They have helped so much with improving my magic playing and when my friends and I got tired of competing with a few tools at another shop, Jeremy let us play our own tournament for Pokemon on a day he normally doesn't do a Pokemon tournament. It was so nice and such a pick me up. And he did this more than once! This place is so accomading and friendly. Another thing I like is it's huge. You have room to breathe and move around. And it's quieter than some of the other places. I've never had a bad experience here. You get welcomed at the door, asked if you need any help with anything and I think the coolest thing was the second time I came to the shop I showed up earlier than my friends. I went and sat at the back with my adult daughter and we just kinda vibed for a minute. Jeremy's dad (I'm sorry I can't remember his name oof) went out of his was to come over to us and was like hey I don't think I've seen you in here before . He introduced himself and asked if there was anything we needed. We explained why we were there and what we were waiting for. He was so helpful and kind. Everyone makes this place so amazing. And did I mention the amount of cards to choose from? Biggest in the area. And if you really need the help, I found out that they will build a deck for you. You tell them what you are looking for, what you want the deck to do and they will get it all set up for you. Yes there's a price for their work and the cards but it is a fair price and I've went against some of these...

I preordered and paid in full for 2 decks (MH3) and the week they were supposed to arrive (June 13th), the owner posted that they would be delayed by 1 week due to his health issues. This is completely understandable and we were empathetic. 3 weeks later, we ask in the discord instead of on his facebook post about them, he apologizes and says they will arrive in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later, inquire again, get the same apology and asked to wait 2 more weeks. 3 weeks later, another person inquires and he deletes the discord server with no responses. The business posted on facebook that they aren't closing, but the last 9 times I've driven by the store during open hours, it has been locked and dark. Its easy enough to ask for a refund at this point, but the product is now 3 times as expensive to buy from another dealer, and I'm confident he has likely received the product and resold it for a tidy profit while screwing over the local customers. It is October 24th, more than 5 months later, and the owner refuses to respond to any inquiries about...
