Silver Lake Plaza — Attraction in Coeur d'Alene

Target is my eldest daughter's favorite place (both in-store and on-line) to find high quality clothes, home decor and also groceries! I love these smell of Target-seriously the best retail store with a distinct welcoming smell that hasn't changed since 1992! My daughter has come to this particular Target in Coeur d'Alene with me since she was 3 years old, so I it's no surprise she now enjoys the wonderful selection and great prices for her two little girls now! Target has always been a bright, welcoming store to all, especially when bringing the little ones like we did on this shopping trip. I really appreciate the family friendly atmosphere and customer service! My daughter, grandkids and I have always looked forward to spending a memorable few hours browsing the well stocked, organized, and very clean aisles. An added bonus is the Starbucks located inside-the employees are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our hotels or cold drinks are made with a extra dash of happiness and cheer! My grand-daughters really enjoy their speciality kids hot chocolates and tasty kids cakes pops. The staff is very accommodating and quick to make bring a smile to both my grandkids no matter what's going on! Ugggg!! I haven't been in this store for YEARS... Forced myself to go the other day. I had a gift certificate. Next time, I'll just re-gift it. The store was missing a lot of stock, based on the empty shelves.. I passed 3 employees who were discussing how one in the group said, "I have to work a full shift! No! Like EIGHT hours, you guys!" All while standing around doing nothing. LMAO! There were a few other annoying moments, but none of which were the store or the employees' fault... they were actually annoying customers. And, I don't see the need in outing them. Let's just say, at that point, I wished I was shopping at Walmart. LOL! Boy it's really different looking in the silver lake Mall now seeing all the vacant stores and even with the stores that are open for business they're gates to the front entrances are down as though they're afraid of people it's very strange the one thing that was enlightening about the whole situation was there were still some Mom and Pops that were doing the walks through the mall as I was at the time and the candy store there was a little lady that came out of the candy store with some free Little fudge samples that was a nice little surprise and a nice little smile for the day I sure hope that black sheep is going to build that place up and make it somewheres near to what...
