Well the part I want to share is a problem I've seen many places and because I do love super 1, they still get 5 stars. But I must bring it to your attention. Is this a trick or something done not realizing it? idk. The larger 30oz can of beans is on power buy for $2.28 saving .05¢ a can. The smaller 15.5oz can of the same is not on sale for .99¢ a can. 2 of the smaller cans = 31oz and the price would be $1.98. buying 2 small cans, not only gives you an extra ounce, you are also paying .30¢ less then if you bought the big can, that's "on sale". Now this isn't the only thing I have noticed this with. I've seen it with paper towels, plastic wear, and many other things. Now the problem is is that people automatically think they are getting a better deal buying the larger size or bigger quantity of something. Some will buy the bigger one, just for that reason, they think they are saving, but they are not. They are paying more. So if you are a bargain shopper or trying to save money, watch for things like this. .30¢ may not seem like a whole lot,...
Read moreAlways clean, friendly and no hassle. I like that they have a great organic section with tons of flavors of kombucha, good bulk items-Including coffees and spices. Granola, dried fruit and the sprouted bread that I like. I generally do not like super market meat, but I’m almost always happy with the meat I buy there. We have gotten prime rib a cpl times during the holidays and have been pleased! Their produce is also good, fresh and a good variety. They make their own fresh popcorn and it’s the bomb. They recently upped their game with their cold and hot lunch bar. The salad bar is pretty average but their hot bar is good and they also make a decent grocery store sushi.(similar in quality to Fred Meyer) The best thing is the prices. I have 6 kids and can do a pretty decent sized shopping trip and only spend 150 bucks.... I’m always surprised my tab isnt more when I check out. Overall it’s my favorite place to shop because of the choices, and it’s a one stop...
Read moreI bought my husband beer for Father’s Day and I normally always get checked for my ID. I look young even though I am 30 years of age. The male cashier does not look at my age on my drivers license and keeps flipping my ID back and forth. He then proceeds to tell me that the photo on my driver’s license is different. (4 years difference mind you) He is giving me a hard time and I have to stand up for myself just to get my ID back. Get better male workers !!!! Don’t like being belittled by a young cashier. This is the second time this has happened to me by a young male cashier. The first time happened two years ago when he bent my ID in front of me and I yelled at him to give it back. I have to go back to the DMV to get a new driver’s license because that young cashier bent my ID in half....
