Lindenhof Farm — Attraction in Colerain Township

I want to start by saying this is not a representation of the quality of the product. I ordered a heritage turkey and while I'm sure I received a high quality bird. The reason only giving 2 stars is the service. When I initially went to pickup the bird I ordered a month prior it immediately exploded all over me since it was in a thin plastic bag. After paying and walking a mile down the road I realized I was given the wrong order. I went back were thay quickly grabbed the nearest heritage bird before rushing me out. The problem was this was a massive bird. A good 4-5 Pounds over what I request. Now at a deli this may be cool but when it's a 40-50 dollar difference the stakes are a bit higher. When I tried to see if I could get the correct size I was hurried away. So I took my bird and left. Like I said it looks like a good bird but I'll go and recommend elsewhere in the future. I love these guys like family. NEVER had any issues picking up from the market(except they are so popular I like to preorder or pick up) or from the farm. I’ve been a customer for 6 years now and I NEVER buy or cook for my family with a store ground meat or anything. Coming for a country where home cooked and home raised was the norm I can tell the cosmic difference between their food and anything from a store. I’ve visited their farm numerous time and enjoyed their free ranging turkeys, chicken etc. any negative interaction with them does not represent these guys, they are a very hard working family that doesn’t cut corners in order to provide the best for their community. If you have an issue address it right away and they will make it right!...

Chicken pot pie had lots of flavor but no chicken. Very disappointing. We're talking half dozen pea sized bits in the whole thing.
