A nice parking lot if you have not come to do a bit of walking, but the two main features which will probably catch one's eye are the large pond and the equally large baseball diamond (across the road, afficionados of either need have no fear of overlap). Not being much of a fisherman I do not know if the pond truly yields the said creature, but I have seen quite a few people with poles in water, talking and, despite the "no alcohol" sign, temperately enjoying what I am quite positive were a few, surely-well earned, beverages of the alcoholic and brewed variety. As far as I could see, fish themselves appeared to be an absolutely optional part of the pleasurability of that situation. Alas, no one was playing baseball whilst I was there, but the diamond appeared to be a perfectly serviceable one (I am no expert), thus I am led to conclude an experiment in that endeavor would end as well as if not better than one in fishing. All in all an enjoyable little park somewhat off the beaten path of Forest Park.

Nice scenic and quiet pond! Just a nice neighborhood get away to enjoy peace with nature and calm the nerves. Did notice on a great occasion like all good things comes some problems in the parking lot and kids ker plunking boulders from the water line into the lake scaring ducks, geese and fish! Focusing more of the positives overall a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Rec Softball players beware this is not the place for you!!! My buddies and I formed a team of some solid players and some guys who have barely played. Triple creek has 3 divisions in softball so I figured the lowest (being Recreational) would be a good fit. However, we’re facing teams that belong multiple divisions up and and they’re crushing teams, not just us, by 20 or more runs and Triple creek refuses to move teams up. Multiple teams that have no business being in a rec league told us they’ve been playing in that league for 20+ years. Not to mention they’ll change the schedule on you the night before a game and only inform you via email. Horribly run softball leagues, I would never and I mean NEVER recommend anyone...

Do not play USSSA Softball here. The umps are awful. Couldn't make a right call if their lives depended on it. Forget about protesting any games too, I spoke with the guy above the umps and he straight up told me "you can do what you want but nothing will happen". FIelds are poorly maintained, they schedule games way later than they should especially since they couldn't run on time of they were on a treadmill made out of clocks, they often cut games short as a result. All in all pretty disappointed that I gave them any...
