This park is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. Lots of nice grassy cross country trails as well as a partially paved walking path. The top part of the path is crushed gravel, but I believe the bottom half is still paved. It was paved when I first revied this park 2 yrs ago, but I didn't walk down far enough today to see if that section is still paved. It looked like it was from the road. Paved path is up a giant hill, so be ready for a workout as all paths here are very hilly. This park be perfect for cross country running or skiing. I have classic cross country skied here a few times in the winter and it was nice, but is not groomed, so it's make your own trail. This park also has a small, but nice playground for kids, a picnic pavilion, real bathrooms, a nice boche ball court, and outdoor fitness equipment for adults. The fitness stuff isn't really the best equipment for getting a good workout in, but it would be nice for doing circuit training between running loops or getting in a light workout while watching your kids play. It looks like some fitness equipment was updated along with the playground in 2022. Current equipment features: standing and sitting chest press, sit-up bench, back extension, arm bike (broken- only one arm has resistance), shoulder rotation, leg press, balance disc, and a stationary walker. Parts of the playground can be used for step-ups, incline pull-ups/push-ups, calf raises etc. The play area was updated in 2022 and was quite busy with many happy children playing when I visited today. It has several unique variations of climbing structures, a mini zip line, swings, music and puzzle stations, and balance stuff. Nice benches in shade for adults and ample parking. Nice park for the whole family.

I was in the Heidelberg, PA area yesterday for lunch so decided to look for a local park where I could walk. Hilltop Park in Heidelberg, PA looked promising online but unfortunately, didn't live up to that. Surrounded by housing developments, this "Meadow Path" just has views of apartments, houses, and construction. No woods or even occasional trees. In the summer, it must be scorching hot on that unprotected path. Never again for me!

If you are in the mood for a nice walk I would 100% recommend this park. It has switchbacks down a hill until you reach a retention pond. Setup allows walkers/runners of all types to enjoy the trail.

Very nice little park located in a high-end community.(Nevillewood) Very chill and usually not crowded. Nice little playground and a couple of pavilions. Great, mostly gravel walking path. Named the Meadow Path and/or Discovery Path. The area is named Hilltop Park for a reason. The Park itself and some of the walking path are located high on a Western PA hill. A great place for a pretty, scenic walk. Also, a great place to take the pups on a walk. Due to being in an upper end housing community the area is very safe. Haven't done the full trail so not sure if there is a stream located further down. I usually do a out and back 20/30 minute walk which is very nice. The primary feature is the vantage point and the surrounding greenery. Fyi, path is slightly up and down. Not hard but a little more than a flat path for a walk or run workout. I will report more if I venture further down the walking path. All in all, another great little...
