Love this park. Nestled within the neighborhood, it's a great place to run and play. It's always well kept. There's a nice track around wide open grass field, a large pavilion for with picnic tables for lunch or parties and a small playground for kids. As it's near the Green Line trail and surrounded by houses, it's frequented by both walkers and runners every afternoon when the weather is nice.
The drawbacks to this park is that the playground is kind of small being just two of your standard "climb and slide" surrounded by wood chips so it may not be your kid's favorite park. (Some may not call that a drawback!) The other draw back is that the bathrooms are located within the DAC Center, a fitness gym. There is a nice walking trail around the park and it connects to the greenbelt. You can easily walk from Cox Park to Johnson Park.
