Brookside Barn — Attraction in Collins

Setting and Barn was beautiful. Owners should think about getting new staff however. They were extremely rude and combative with guests. Witnessed a woman get into a guests face for asking for help lighting an outdoor heater. She basically has her finger inches from his face scolding him on his behavior. Mind you, he was a grown man who simply asked for help. After talking the woman apologized then another staff member decided to call "someone" (we assumed the authorities) because said guest was "getting out of control." Wonderful setting, too bad the staff are so rude. Majority of guests were shocked...

Words can't even describe how HAPPY we were with Brookside Barn. Honestly is was truly a fairy tale wedding for me. I can't tell you how many of my guest complimented how professional the staff was and how well coordinated it was, not to mention how beautiful the venue was. This definitely exceeded my expectations and would recommend this venue to everyone who is looking for a rustic Barn wedding. ...

I absolutely love this place. We had our wedding there on July 25th. It was supposed to be in April. Due to Covid we had to move it. Mrs. Diane was a gem to work with. We stayed at the cabins on Brooksides property which was very convenient. The cabins were really nice. Everything was clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day!...
