I recently attended a wedding at Mitchell Farms. The outdoor ceremony space is an open barn with a rustic old chandelier that's just full of possibilities! The indoor reception hall was a nice space but felt a bit outdated. There's very little signage pointing to the parking area, and you have to drive pretty far onto the property before you get to it, which made me worry I had missed a turn. The wedding party was driven on golf carts from the cabins where they got ready to the ceremony space once all guests were seated. Logistically, that could be improved upon, I think.
Overall, though, Mitchell Farms was a neat place to visit. It was peaceful to sit in a rocking chair on a big front porch and watched playful goats climbing their "house" and furry bunnies hopping around in the grass. There are tons of interesting things to look at, and I saw only a small part of the property.

We had a great time October 26th (85°! but there's shade to rest in) There is lots of food to buy - Fair type food trucks, all kinds of candy and kettle corn. There's peanuts galore, ice cream, & candy apples. Wear closed toe shoes, lots of walking. There's a "tiny town" for kids to play in, bubble station, corn pit, sand pit, tire climbing tower, bladders to jump on, slides, and swings. There's a sunflower patch, a butterfly garden, & corn maze to walk through. There's a shop with jellies and pickles & toys. There's a covered wagon / bus you can ride around the property along with a kids' barrel train. While we were there you could take a photo with "Elsa", "Belle", and Cinderella or his and her Mouse (Mickey & Minnie) There are a couple of cabins you can look into with quilts and...
