Gorgeous short 1 mile hike and very inviting for family with little kids! We even stumbled upon a young moose grazing in the distance. BUT......after talking to locals we were told they were surprised that the park was re-opened. A few years back a family of five was killed by a rock slide here!! No mention of it anywhere, so I was shocked its back open to the public with nothing else warning us than the standard rock slide picture at the beginning of the trail! Be aware, avoid this after any rainfall! Who knows how often the Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices checks the rockwalls for any loose boulders ready...

There are multiple paths in some spots to take you closer to the water or ip on higher ground.
