Boyd Lake Swim Beach — Attraction in Colorado

Boyd Lake is as nice as one can hope for a beach on a lake. The shores were a bit muddy, and the sand was a bit rocky, but the water was clear and nice. There’s a snack bar with good provisions for a beach day all for sale. Restrooms were reasonably clean and provided showers for sandy feet or ripe campers. Plenty of parking. Police/security there for public safety. A lot of people cooking out...

Very nice clean park. Not many people here as it is October and not peak season. This is a very large Beach with a kids playground, concession stand, lots of parking, and trash cans.

They do have a ranger station where they check for State Park...
