Had a great time camping and fishing with friends and family! Fair warning this place can get very windy, luckily there were a lot of large rocks around the campsite that I used to help tie the tent down since the pegs kept being pulled out by the wind. Breathtaking views and some monster Pike in there if you are into fishing! Met some local fishermen that helped to give me tips on what I should add to my own tackle box. Definitely Recommended!

The people camping on the water is terrible and the trash left behind. Fisherman leave buckets, fishing line and cigarette butts everywhere. The speed limit is 25 on the road coming in on the south side people speed through and don't slow down. We are residents out here at the lake. I'm sure at one time it was a beautiful place.

This is no longer a totally free lake, To use this lake you must have a valid Colorado hunting or fishing license for everyone from age 18 to 64 or get a pass from the parks and wildlife office. OHV's are no longer allowed at the lake and dogs must be leashed.Pack out what you bring in no trash service 4 vault toilets around the lake. Decent fishing of...

They dont have enough signs or rangers to go around and warn everyone about the BLUE GREEN ALGE that is highly dangerous to humans and pets!! We were told after we had already been the water!! And all the kids around the lake were playing in it!! My dog is sick and I have severe eye problems due to the water!! Dont go there...
