Camped out last night (Sunday of Labor Day weekend). Arrived around 4:30 to find spots still available. Set up camp at the top of the hill and enjoyed the view. Weather wasn’t great while we were there and I was freezing, but our pups had a great time and we had a beautiful fire with an epic sunset despite the weather. Only drawback - very loud campsite - so many ppl screaming and partying you could hear for miles.

Got there in the middle of the night. Woke up to a breathtaking view. Probably should take 4 weel drive out here, as the road is a little rough, especially near the end, however, I did make it in my PT Cruiser (though i bottomed out a couple times) so.... enter without 4WD at your own risk. Spectacularly worth it.

Awesome place to hike and camp. Doable with 2wd just make sure you have clearance; the sedan in front of us bottomed out a few times. Bumpy, rocky road. Single lane most of the way. Beautiful views.
