Lagerman Reservoir — Attraction in Colorado

Great, quiet little body of water for paddle boarding! My boys and I got there at 9:00 am and stayed untill about 12:00. It was like having a private lake all to ourselves! Beautiful view of the front range and some sweet and interesting waterfowl. Very serene for me, but if you have teenagers they might want a busier spot! ;) There is also no swimming allowed, as with most reservoirs in Colorado, and fishing is not recommended due to low oxygen levels in the reservoir. It is nice and carm lake with beautiful sunset scenery, and a lot activities are allowed in this reservoir. There are toilets, picnic table,even a grill there, but it is pitty the grill was locked when I visited there.the nearby Open Sky loop is little bit less than 5 miles, Very plat, super suitable for running in morning or evening. I love this calming peaceful park! It's far away from most of the city and draws you back to a simpler time!
