Lone Mesa State Park — Attraction in Colorado

I've gotten to go hunting here multiple times and Lone Mesa is such a beautiful place. At the moment it is only open to farmers for cattle grazing during the summer and then hunters during the fall hunting seasons for deer, elk, and other animals. They hope to someday have it open to public use for camping and recreational activities. Lots of wildlife here including deer, elk, turkeys, bears, and even mountain lions. It is quite diverse with it's sagebrush lowlands and aspen/pine forests on top of the mesa. A unique place in Colorado that very few people get to enjoy.
