What a beautiful area. I had two owls serenading me the beginning of the night. Here's a picture. I was thankful they let me camp overnight here in my camper. That was a bonus as where the bathrooms.

Nice area to make a quick stop and relax. If you have a zoom lens you can capture pictures of beautiful birds. There are also rugged mountains visible on the other side of the area.

Great stop on this little road trip... there are bathrooms and a trash bin to clean out the vehicle a bit. Mapes and I walked the trail, it goes in and then you follow it back...

Lots of biting flies, bring protection! Access from the west and north sides. Pit toilets on west side, none from north side.

Most of the waterfowl are at a significant distance from road/trails, binoculars kinda work, but will be back...

Would be great if the signs to the preserve were placed closer to 285. Drove all the way in with our camper only to come to locked gate with sign that says closed for nesting season Sept-Jul 15, 2021. NO turn around had to back all the...

Beautiful spot to view the birds🐦🌿 I believe this Wildlife Area could use some donations for some upgrades for the trail.Not easy for disabled people to walk but if you're careful its possible. Please visit and consider...
