It may be a nice walk but less than 500ft from the trailhead my 40lb German Shorthaired Pointer was attacked by two coyotes at 11am on December 26. We were able to scare them off of her and she got away with just one bite. After walking her hundreds of hours in Utah and Colorado, was shocked...

Nice trailhead with ample parking and two outhouses. Out and back trail that's not too busy. Occasionally horses and a bit of horse poop on the trails, but not too bad. The turn off Arapahoe will sneak up on you, so hit your turn signal early...

Beautiful trail through ranch land with horses and ample wildlife to see. My daughter loved seeing the colts nursing and the irrigation ditches flowing. Dogs can be off leash and tons of room for them to run. Great views of the...
