The biggest mausoleum I have seen ( I have seen just one before on Red Square)The Tower of Memories is a seven-story mausoleum built in 1929 in Denver. It has about 11,000 spaces for remains, some of which are famous people. One of them is Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States, who had a tragic and turbulent presidency. He died in 1869 and his grave is a simple obelisk. The tower is a historic landmark of Denver and a must-see for anyone interested in the past and the present of the city.

Very quiet, peaceful and well maintained final resting place for loved ones. I was here by myself so I was a little anxious but it was an experience I’m glad I had. Looking at all the old photographs of the deceased let me reflect on life.
