This place is good for the kids if nothing else available or just to have a moment or two to unwind. CONTRARY TO A PREVIOUS REVIEW ---FOOD, TOYS ,BUCKETS, WATER SOAKERS, ARE NOT PERMITTED. Plastic Water BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED. Only complaint and reason for 3-star review is that the personnel in the place, specifically told my 7 yr old that he wasn't allowed to use the pool water soaker because of rules,( Mind you, he was simply filling and pushing the plunger and directing into the air.) I relented, obviously due to rules and regulations. My disdain for the personnel occurred when I looked around and saw numerous toys as well as kids running around with buckets every where on the grounds. POINTED out to the staff about the rules and UNSAFE environment that these scattered toys may cause and they did nothing about it. The rules SPECIFICALLY STATE: as of 6/29/25, NO: • Food, beverages*, gum, glass containers, or tobacco products • Lawn/beach chairs • Climbing or hanging on water features • Skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, or bikes • Toys - buckets, water guns, water balloons, etc. • Unsafe play, inappropriate language, or disruptive behavior • Radios or amplified audio devices • Pets, except if trained to assist individuals with disabilities *Plastic water bottles and baby bottles/sippy cups are permitted.
Either ENFORCE all or No Rules. DON'T DISCRIMINATE and Don't have...
Read moreNice park but they need to update the rules about riding low speed electric scooters in the park because these low speed electric scooters are legal now in NJ since May 13, 2019. But if you get caught riding a low speed electric scooter that can run for 10 to 15 miles per hour on the multi use trail in that park then some park rangers would chase after you like you comited a crime just to tell you that you can't ride your scooter on the trail and believe me it is very embarrassing especially when they do it around your family because they get worried sick real quick. It's not fair that the park only allowed bicycle, in line skate and pedestrians or walkers to be on the trail while electric is the future and its also saving the planet. I don't see any harm on riding a low speed electric scooter in a recreational Park because most people that visit there are always fascinated by seeing other others riding their low speed electric scooters except the park rangers who are nervous about the new evolution of the world switching to a greener way of transportation which can also save the planet by reducing the rate of pollution. In other words, the park should be a safer place for anyone who likes to ride their bicycle, in line skate , and low speed electric scooters instead of being on the street. I hope one day the rules at this park would rectify that issue...
Read moreSo, It would be a really nice place, if not for the staff. Or lack of staff. "Had a party" today, one of the kids blacked out from a heat stroke when they were denied entrance to the spray park, for the covering staff had no record of our reservations for the pavillion and splashpark. Now, we had set up what we thought was our spot while being watched by park rangers for 3 hours prior to any interjections saying we were in the wrong spot. As soon as people started arriving, we were forced to move. Now thats not an issue, except that forced move of location had ALL the park rangers we searched for an hour prior to setting up come threaten us with police involvement for being at the wrong pavillion. So while trying to take all the kids to splash park, half of them having some sort of disability, they were forced to wait elsewhere. Our food and drinks had to be moved completely across the park. Poor kid with asthma and some other conditions passes out. All the kids are terrified. All types of emotional trauma these kids had to deal with thinking their 5 year old friend was going to die....
