We've been coming here every July for my mother's company picnic, and it seems to be getting worse with each passing year. Last year the roller coaster broke down while we were riding it & was then closed the rest of the day. This wasn't surprising as only a handful of the cars were functional & able to take riders & the ride was EXTREMELY rough. It was a little concerning to see the same ride closed for part of the day this year as well. We weren't brave enough to try riding it this time for fear of getting the same results or worse! It's a shame because there are only four rides (including the one mentioned). The arcade was a joke this year. Many of the crane games had very few prizes left in them & those were impossible to win. Quite a few other games were out of order, one of the two skee ball games being one. Another game stopped working as my daughter was playing & even though they gave her tokens back, they did not put a sign on the machine or have anyone look at it. This caused a few other kids to lose their tokens as well, since they had no idea it was broken. The overall feel of the park has a shabbiness to it that just gets worse each time we're there. We used to look forward to going every year but are now hoping the company changes venues unless Paige's Crossing makes the necessary changes to turn it back into the fun, clean place...
Read moreHoly cow this place is a dump. My husband took my son today. Only one of the rides was staffed. On a weekend during the summer. They were charged too many tickets for their go-cart (passengers are supposed to be free, but they said my son needed tickets too) and the go-carts were junk. My husband ended up giving the rest of their ride tickets away because there were no more rides for them to do. Went inside to play arcade games and almost every machine was broken/out of order. My son was 100 tickets shy of what he needed for an prize, so my husband asked if he could pay the difference but that wasn’t an option. So he went to buy a few more tokens, but by that point the token machine was out of order too so he couldn’t even do that. They spent $35 to ride one ride, one go-cart, and play a handful of games that weren’t broken. We spent less at the fair two weeks ago and rode 8 rides, plus played two overpriced carnival games. This place is OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced considering almost none of their rides or games work, and they obviously don’t bother to maintain their equipment. We will definitely never...
Read moreThe one perk here is the lines weren't long...but that is probably because of the many issues we encountered. We were a part of a birthday party...which was informed they weren't allowed to bring in food and there would be food available for order. Well, there were soft pretzels and microwaved breadsticks available (which ran out before our party all got their orders (all while the other birthday party next to us brought pizza and no questions asked🤷♀️) The staff were all teens, and were less than thrilled to be there. One in particular rolled her eyes and let out a huge sigh everytime someone bothered her during her shift. The arcade games had a few issues and again no staff wanted to help without an eye roll. The kids did get a decent amount of tickets from the games that worked,, but boy the prizes were way over priced! The teens running go karts allowed double riders sitting nearly out of the kart without seat belts....major safety violation! Overall we spent way more money there than we should have considering the treatment we got and the run down state...
