Great place to walk my anxious old lady, with plenty of spots to pull off and allow others to pass. Lots of signage reminding residents that all dogs must be on a leash, as my old girl demonstrates in attached photo. Restrooms seem handicapped accessible but are unfortunately locked, usually this is a hint of an unsafe area rife with vandalism and muggings. Our tax dollars can fund the labor hours of park maintenance and LEOs, they just choose not to utilize them here. Probably best to use your own bathroom before coming here just to take a quick stroll and be out in 30 minutes just to be safe.

This park is my daily sanctuary. It’s tranquil, sunny with lots of shady spots, and abundant wildlife. Really nice park for a variety of activities - walking, running, nature viewing, picnics, playground, bonfire, weddings, group gatherings. The trails are paved and route along the lakeshore. On our Spring walk we saw so many turtles (painted turtle and snappers), geese, ducks, and robins. The playground equipment has multiple swings and a play area. Porta-Potties we're really gross. A park this nice should have permanent bathrooms, in my opinion. Despite the bathrooms, it's still a nice...
