Centennial Park North — Attraction in Columbia

I love this park. We went for the 1st time with my 3.5 yr old and she loved it. There is a huge gated kids playground with lots of fun interactive play areas including picnic benches and small sitting areas. I love that it is gated with child safety openings. There are baseball fields, tennis courts, racquetball courts x 6, skate bike park and trails for walking. People walk their dogs here a lot. Great skate board park. Lots of fun skate boards and bikes. There is also a path that accesses the main section of the park and the lake. First, the good: the ramps are solid, smooth concrete. There's a variety of ledges, two straight of different height, and a curved one.

Now the bad: the surface is made of some material designed to be as sharp and rough as possible. You can't maintain any amount of speed, and you'll get seriously cut up when you fall.

Until they fix the surface, don't bother coming without big soft wheels and...
