Fresh Pasture Farms — Attraction in Columbia

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Went on walking tour. Bought 10 dozen pullet eggs and ordered a 22-24 lb Turkey to be picked up in November. We were supposed to get an email to remind us of p/u. Never Got a email. Called today and spoke with Sandy who swears a email was sent. Then was told to come and get a frozen one. I said I didn’t want or order a frozen one. Was then told well what were you going to do with it put it in the freezer!!! I said why would I pay $80.00 for a frozen Turkey when I can get one at Schnucks for .29/lb. I then said I guess I’m out my $20.00 deposit Sandy said guess so looks that way. After arguing she said I’ll talk to my son. My phone died I called back and explained that I deliberately ordered a 22-24 lb Turkey because I have 30 people coming to my house and she again insinuated I was a liar and said they didn’t take orders for sizes of turkeys!!!! NEVER trust these people...

The absolute best place in STL to get locally raised meat. We show up with coolers and stock up every time we come here. The prices are higher than big box stores but it’s absolutely WORTH IT. The quality is superior and you support local business. We’ve gotten so used to the excellent quality of meat from FPF that we can’t bring ourselves to eat meat from big box stores anymore.

As I sit here snacking on the last of the giblets from the 2 turkeys we brined & smoked this weekend, it's easy for me to give this family enterprise a 5+ rating.

I grew up with rangeland livestock and know what it takes to raise healthy and content animals. From the time you drive in the Fresh Pasture lane to when you finish the last of the bird, you will enjoy the quality product that only comes from hands-on comittment.
