So close to a 5! The space is great it just isn’t up-kept as well as it could be. There is a great pond for the dogs to cool down from running. Lots of gravel to help with mud but it’s in need of additional loads. Lots of open space for running. Picnic tables and benches for sitting. Trees for shade. There’s even a wind shelter like you’d typically see at a bus stop. Several trees are in desperate need of trimming. There’s a fair bit of waste from other patrons, unfortunately. I get it. Funding only goes so far. I just picked up a bucket to take with us. My lab loves to bring me all the trash she finds and now I’ll have someplace to put it. Maybe after a while they can just make her an official park cleaner. Either way I love taking my pup to get her energy out, make some pupper friends, and now clean...

Garth doggy park is beautiful. There is a huge pond, tree's and benches for us to sit on. However, today I took my lab. There and for the first time two dogs attacked her! The owners didn't do anything to stop them. I was yelling at them to stop them and they didn't. By the time I got to her they were all over her. I am so upset about this! We were there all of 5 min. And I had to get my dog out of there and she was happy to go. Marley loves the dog park. Normally, there isnt any trouble. Normally people are friendly and dogs are too. If you see a large grey hound by the name of Lincoln and his black long haired middle sized friend...for your dog's safety don't...

Has to be one of the best dog parks in the area. No special rules or regulations, you can visit, let your pupper play with the other dogs and even run through the very shallow pond that acts as a centerpiece for the open area. There are enough tables, chairs, and trees for plenty of people to be there with their animals without feeling crowded; there is even a small covered seating area with plexiglass around it. Do not bring an animal that isn't friendly with other dogs, even if you plan on keeping it leashed and by your side; other dogs will not be. 9/10 for lack of amenities (other than water for you and your pup) would...

This is a nice, large area where dogs can have fun. I never let Lacey go off leash in any dog Park (we've only been to a handful) unless there are no other dogs present, but she's content staying on her leash. There is a pond there, and some people evidently let their dogs play in it, but I didn't like the look of the water, so no swimming for Lacey there. We did enjoy walking the path which encircles the pond, however. We also liked all the shady areas.
