Stop there today and took a hike around the pond it is basically an out-and-back but it does take you in a slight little loop. The pain was very mucky and filled with a lot of sea weed. There is a parking lot that you can park in. You can also fish this pain because I saw other people fishing in. I also did see a lot of frogs when I was here it's a cute little trailer if you're looking to get out just for a short little walk.

Quiet little park with a trail to walk on. Part of the trail goes along side the pond. There is a small dam and a family of Canada geese so watch your step if you walk along the grassy area where they roam. They have a boat ramp but the water is shallow so it probably is best for kayaks and canoes though no one was there when we were there. They also allow fishing. There is free parking and a portable toilet .

I grew up around here and used to hike in these woods before out was a state park. It's peaceful and a good place for a walk in the woods.
