Shelby County Exhibition Center — Attraction in Columbiana

Worst experience I ever had. I only gave it a 1 because there has to be a rating, I'd give it a 0 if I could. Saw the bull riding event advertised for a few weeks, made plans with my wife to attend. Arrived almost 2 hours early. Got what we thought would be good seats. Problem was, event staff didn't, or couldn't do their job and keep people from standing at the railing. My wife and I left after just a few minutes. We didn't get to see ANY of the opening ceremonies, or the introduction of the riders. Spoke to security twice about the people standing, and they didn't, or couldn't get them to move. I spoke to a women in the front office, got our money back, and on the way out, complained to the same security guard again. and another person, who was some sort of Management (?) person who I voiced my complaint to and he basically said, too bad. "You're not the first and won't be the last to be upset " as I and my wife turned and left the event. Out the parking money. $4.00 I admit it's not a lot of money, but it is the principle. I will NEVER attend another event there, and suggest that no one else ever...

went to the rodeo and were gonna get tickets at the door big mistake. they only had 250 spare to allow in and the reasoning for the 1 star is as we entered paid theparking we were told we would be the last ones assured to get in as you see we didnt. so a word to the wise if you plan on going to any event make sure to get tickets in...
