Sledding in the winter is great, and you can call ahead to make sure the hill is open. River photos are from the park off of Kronner Rd not the main one off of Bauman. Sledding is from Bauman Rd. There’s bathrooms a little play area with slides and a bonfire a lot of times. There’s lot of trails and also horseback riding areas and disc golf. Fishing is good, we’ve caught one with our net.

This park is an absolute gem. Beautiful in all seasons whether you're hiking the trails through the mature forest, picking blackberries, trail riding, sledding in the winter, Watchung the kids enjoying the playground...there is fun for everyone. Kudos to St Clair County for making this lovely park along the scenic Belle River a reality.

Great place for photographers to capture portraits of all kinds. They have a variety of spaces to get a bit of everything! We recently did a senior session here. Best of all it's a large park and also low key. Certainly worth the journey if you need to find a park out of the suburbs.

It's a park where the river appears to have carved itself into a valley, with a flat ledge running parallel to the river that dips 40 feet to the rivers edge and banks along a glacial moraine, with pines towering +100 feet, and nice lookout points along the ledge. A nice set of walking trails to choose. Horseback riding trails and nice meadows. Excellent public restrooms and snack machine. Decent signage. Awesome log-cabin style pavilion with wooden picnic tables. Romantic scenery....

It's meh. Not fond of the horse trails, frisbee golf and walking trails all basically mixed together. Like other reviews have stated there's no clear signs of where the trails start. Just go down a path that's mowed down or walk down the sledding hill and enjoy to the best of your ability while avoiding the horse poop. If you want to get over the river and don't want to get wet you'll have to walk over on the train tracks near the southeast end...

I was blessed to have this park around for me to propose to my fiance at, it's a truly beautiful park with trails that can keep you walking for hours, plus with the addition of the disc gold course the entertainment factor just keeps increasing! For winter time, they also have a small ice skating ring, and relatively large sled hill with a gas fire pit at the top and a heat building for it's bathrooms. Check it out, it never...
