Alkire Woods Park — Attraction in Columbus

This is a nice neighborhood park. It has a paved walking path although a short distance, playground equipment, picnic tables, benches and a shelter house. There is only on street parking in front of the park. Also there aren't any restrooms. The woods part of the park are a work in progress. Trails have been somewhat cleared but need some work done to them.I would say to give it some time because construction is underway on 2 sides of the park. The play place itself has no surrounding shade so when it gets really hot. My kid had to get off.
