There are a lot of zipping options out there. Many of which are great. These zip lines themselves are nice, though they're not like the other tree to tree tours around. That being said, if you're new to zip lines this is the perfect place to start.
Every staff member we met was awesome. Not just our guides, Kevin and Andrew, but also the staff behind the register, the support staff to help get people into harnesses, and the other guides that were not a part of our tour.
It started to thunder after the second zip line and so we stopped to try to wait it out. We waited for about 30 minutes while Kevin and Andrew told family friendly jokes and kept people engaged. The weather didn't clear up quick enough so we were shuttled back to the parking lot and given the option to wait out the storm, rebook for a different day, or get some sort of refund. My girlfriend and I were the only ones in the tour that opted to wait. It was and another 20 minutes in total until the storm passed. We were the last tour of the day, but all of the staff stayed incredibly positive and friendly, and Kevin and Andrew kept their energy high for the rest of the tour.
Their staff did an amazing job putting new people at ease, and finding ways to make the experience special for people who have zipped before. I can't stress how charming , personable, and fun Kevin and Andrew were. I firmly believe that if you choose to come here you will be...

My husband and I are visiting my grandparents with our 2 girls this week so we decided to look around for things to do with them and found Canopy Ridge. We travel a lot and have pretty high standards for our leisure activities.
This place couldn’t of exceeded our expectations anymore than it did. First when you walk in your greeted by nothing but nice people and smiles. Everyone is helpful and knows their stuff. The signing up process was simple and quick.
Our tour guides were Daniel & Kevin. They were AMAZING. They were funny, kept our kids engaged with their theatrics and jokes. The zip lining was comfortable and fun.
On top of the awesome customer service the views are beautiful. You can take your phone which is a plus because they don’t try to force selling pictures or any of that stuff. It’s what you see on the website is what you get.
I can’t imagine HOW this doesn’t have a 5/5 rating (although the 4.8 is pretty good). Definitely will be back each time we’re visiting NC. Thank you all for the effort you put in to create such a great experience...
Read moreYou won't go wrong with Canopy Ridge. The people are very helpful, friendly, and fun. The price is very reasonable for ziplining. But you need to understand what type of ziplining this is:
I would classify it as for beginners to moderate (zipped 1-3 times in the past). The lines are 500-1,000 feet long which are shorter than some of the bigger mountain ziplines. My daughter and I did some in the Great Smokies near Pigeon Forge which were 750 to 2,500 feet long. It's also not super high; about 20-100 feet off the forest floor. So great for first-timers and second/third timers. But if you're looking for something with a 400' drop beneath you, this isn't it. My wife and son had never been before, so this was perfect! I would also choose Canopy Ridge if I had young kids (11 and younger).
6 ziplines through the forest. You ride 6-8 passenger ATVs up the mountain and then back down (fun ride when the guides make it part of the adventure!). About 2 hours to do all six.
Would highly recommend! Great place and people and ziplines! Just not for someone experienced looking for a huge, high, long...
