Freedom Field — Attraction in Columbus

I like using freedom field I actually go there pretty often to walk dogs and to get some exercise in. Lots of soccer games happen here. It's a pretty open family friendly park that's even next to a school. The one thing I don't like about the park is that people tend to let their dogs also go in the grass and poo and then they don't pick it up. When I take my dogs over there I let them relieve themselves but I pick it up. The playground here is very cool and fun for kids but a nightmare for parents. The playground is huge, long and full of blind spots. If you have young kids they can easily disappear from one side to the next. There is also no adult sized way of getting from one side to the next without walking all the way around. The bathrooms are way too far away and the actual park parking lot is a huge field away. You also can't play on the play ground during school hours as Parkside...

I really wanted to spend some time here with the kids but being from out of town I did not realize it is used by the school for recess so we had to find something else to do this would have been good information for good to have listed in the business hours section rather that listing the park as open 24/7 for those of us who are not familiar...
