U Part It — Attraction in Columbus

I just got home from this junkyard and it was my second time there. The first time I was there the lady at the front desk said there weren’t any challengers and all I could use was an electrical connector. So this time i brought my gauge cluster from my challenger to see if a cluster from a charger would fit if i had time. I came this time to find a part from an F150 for a friend and needed more tools so I went to the Chrysler section or where I saw chargers and 300s before leaving to get more tools. I got a gas cap and Dodge emblem. And headed to the front. i was going to check out and a short bald dude was about to go back to the yard but saw me and then he was like “i gotta check your bags. The way times are..blah blah blah..” Then he proceeds to touch my purse and try to move things and I say “please don’t touch my stuff. I start taking things out of the wagon and move my tool box and he saw my cluster under my tool box.. Him: I’m gonna need that part right there. Me: this? This is from my car. Him: there’s signs around saying not to bring parts Me: this is my second time and I didn’t see any signs and nobody told me that. he takes my part out of my wagon and goes behind the front desk Him: I would believe her but she was trying to hide it Me: I wasn’t trying to hide it It was under my tool box.. am I supposed to just cover my tools when I’m working? Him: I’m not gonna keep arguing with you because it’s pointless Me: but you’re still talking…I have a 2012 challenger! Him: this is what I can do, take the part and do not come back because we don’t tolerate stealing (or something like that) *i take my part and start walking out * As i was walking out I said “ i’m the only brown person that’s getting a bag check” and he started yelling something at me and I have no idea what he said..I just left..smh

So as soon as I get home I take pictures of my cluster and my car with the cluster missing (because I brought it to the junkyard) just to show that it was mine…smh I never had a problem at any other yard with anything. I made a video but I can’t upload it. I think if you’re brown they’re gonna think you’re stealing I think. Idk

Went 2 this place 2 get apart I asked the lady at the front desk what I was looking 4 she looked up something on her computer then told me that they do have a match so I pay 4 some one to take the part off right then I buy the part they said that's not the right one so I take it back with in 20mins of buying the part I go back and ask the lady why she tell me that the part is match come to find out it's not and now they won't give me my money back she saying that she never said that the manager tried talking over me didn't won't 2 help me at all then they tell me is that all they can do is give me a discount on the part no I just wanted my money back u told me this part is compatible but it's not I told them bad communication skills you lied to people that get their money the way they do business is...

99 Dodge grand caravan, called to get quote on Cash 4 cars - LOL offered 135 dollars, I was shocked, then she offered 175. I thought to my self YOU GOT 2B JOKING. I can Pull it across the scales (junk it for scrap) and get 2X that (avg 250-400) Now don't for get everything on van was there, has bad trans, But 3.3 flex fuel, working air, 75% on mich tires, and all glass and seats were perfect. Body has some rust but not even close to being bad for a 99. You could put a trans in it and be back on road in a day and drive anywhere. I am a retired mechanic and do not slack on my old ladys ride. Got it! so, Do Not expect any CASH for what your Ride is worth at this company. They make MAD cash off your misfortune. Just junk it and get your money...
