I've been going here for 30 years, and it seems to be going downhill each year, little by little. I know the last few years haven't had much snow or super cold temps, but there are a lot of things that are worn and dated. Each time I have come in probably the last 4 years there has been no ice skating. They promote it, but no rink, not really sure why. Usually there is only one, maybe 2 toboggan lanes running. Tubing is generally running and does well. The lodge was alright, had some snack foods for typical recreational venue prices, not much for heat tho, even on a warmer day it was pretty cold in there. The pull rope to help get back up hill is pretty worn and sags to the grown and drags the ground. It looks aged for sure, but when things are running you can still have fun! Lots of memories I have of this place and miss them! Wish they could open up skating and more toboggan lanes. Would love to see this place...

Combo pack of both tubing and tobbagins for $20 a person all day (10am-6pm) was definitely worth the price. Also if you plan to just watch your kids they will not charge you for non riders. Warming lodge with drinks, snacks & restrooms are at the bottom of the hills, you can either ride down one of the hills or there is a walking path to get down to it. Sleds come back up on a trolley, tubes must be pulled back up, but there is a tow rope/pulley that you can hang onto to help get you back up hill easier. Tubing line was a little long when we got there around 130pm, however it didn't last long before lines got shorter. Can tie tubes together or go down separately. Tobbagins can have up to 3 people per sled. Staff were willing to accommodate parents who just wanted to watch from the top (can also stand on bridge at bottom and watch tobbagins go under you). Pics are of tobbagin hill, tube hill...

No snow making equip big downer. Guy taking money at tickets, and lady taking money at snacks not so nice. Most rest employees very cool. $20 person for 8 hours unlimited tubing and toboggan...problem only 1 tube run -wait close to an hour...never tubed there. Toboggan run no snow no ice just those broom thingys iced down. Very slow toboggan. Not to disparage, but tubed at timber ridge way faster than their toboggan and tube wait time near zero as timber has several sxs runs and a belt to carry u up! Echo needs some fresh air and about $750k, fresh eyes investment an they'd be king. Wish them the best. Though. Better to support what we have and "push" them than abandon. Give it a try$20 unlimited all day good deal if you don't mind the tube waits, lack of snow machines and ice...

Echo Valley is a fun experience for the family. The negative reviews are somewhat valid but you can’t expect the world every time. The cost is $20 a person now and they still do not accept cards. Cash only here. Inconvenient...yes. We knew ahead of time so we came prepared. As far as the runs, the toboggan was great. Three lanes open. The tube run was great as well. There is certainly some updating needed here but overall it was worth the money. My kids loved it. You can stay as long as you want so it’s up to you what your money is worth.

Overall, the experience was fun at Echo Valley, but, for the $20 per person ticket, it was a bit much considering they only had one toboggan hill open for the large number of people that were visiting. For first-timers though, it was lots of fun! The tubing hill was pretty long, but I was expecting it to be a little longer considering the wait we had to go through to go down it. In all, the experience was great and will likely go back in the future. 5 stars in the future if the price goes down a bit, or more slides are open!
