I kind of wish the google review stars were more like Michelin stars. Not so much because I’m some sort of elitist foodie (seriously the opposite), but because the stars have more concrete meanings.
This place is quite nice. A beautiful little path in the woods. A nice boardwalk along a small pond. An overlook onto wetlands. I bet there could be a lot of birds if you went at the right time.
If I lived in Sudbury this would get a much higher rating. Its worth a stop. I don’t live all that close to Sudbury. It is not worth the drive from where I do live. There are better places to visit...
Read moreThis is a beautiful spot that is an adequate hike if you manage to explore each of their trails (1hr 20min). It neighbors a beautiful marsh and local community garden. Great Meadows also offers plenty of scenic views and elevation for any nature lovers. Read more3 trails, all flat terrain. The Dike Trail goes through the refuge and circles around at 1.7 miles. Amazing views at sunset and sunrise. Kid friendly and lots of people out watching the wildlife. A great 40 - 60 minute hike with plenty of birds, herons, turtles, and river otter.
